AT Ourisman Chevrolet of Rockville, we care about our region and the people who call maryland home. That's why we are committed to giving back to our community through local charities, events and groups.

Montgomery County's 2016 Goal was to End Veteran Homelessness in the county - We were a part of that!.

Partnering with Montgomery County Coalition in 2016, Ourisman Chevrolet of Rockville joined the coalition in helping to end veteran homelessness Montgomery. We were not only able to assist a veteran's move into a fully furnished apartment days before thanksgiving, but we're proud to declare that the Coalition was able to end veteran homelessness in the area for that year. Veteran homelessness remains an ever on-going issue, and we support the Montgomery Coalition and the great work they do dealing with this huge issue affecting our US veterans across the country.

  

Ourisman Chevrolet Of Rockville's Supporting The Cause

Our veteran was able to move into his new apartment, complete with enough supplies for food and hygiene needs through January 2016. We were so pleased to be able have a part in this coalition helping our homeless vets - who are some of the hardest veterans to help, and some of the hardest hit. They are also often the veterans in the direst of situations - in the most need of assistance or care. As you can see, in the picture above he is enjoying his new furnished apartment. Above right is some of our team helping him furnish and moving him in to his new place.
