Steve and Mandeep helped with my vehicle need and tried to make my experience better despite the ongoing manufacture issue I have with my vehicle.

This matter is regarding a transfer case failure on my 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe LT. I believe the failure is associated with prior service performed by Ourisman Chevrolet in Rockville, Maryland; no other parties, other than Ourisman dealership service centers, have performed service on the transfer case. This transfer case was last serviced at Ourisman Chevrolet in Rockville on March 22, 2024, at 78,627 miles. Now, at 87,100 miles, a crack in the transfer case has progressed to the point that replacement of the transfer case has been recommended, at an estimated cost of $8,215.41. Any individual with experience would agree that this crack is the result of excessive tightening or torquing (i.e., improper service procedures) when it was last serviced, rather than ordinary wear and tear.
I wrote a letter explaining this situation to Mr. Henry Panjshiri on June 2, 2026. I followed up on June 4, 2026. I received no responses to my communications. On June 6, 2026 I arrived to retrieve my vehicle; I cannot continue to leave my vehicle at a dealership that won't respond to my straightforward requests to communicate. The associate at the service center presented me with a ~$229.00 bill. I had to argue my case that I should not be required to pay this amount, because no work had been performed on the car, and no one (including the Dealership General Manager) would respond to me. The associate called Mr. Batholomeo, and he approved not holding me liable for a bill that shouldn't have been presented in the first place.
I have referred this matter to the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center (Reference 101829860).

To whom it may concern,
I would like to express my disappointment regarding the service provided by Ourisman Chevrolet service department.
I do not recommend taking your vehicle there due to the lack of professionalism and poor quality of work performed on my truck’s brake system.
Initially, the dealership replaced the front brakes and rotors. However, shortly after the repair, the same problems returned. I brought the vehicle back, and instead of properly replacing the damaged rotors again, they only resurfaced (“turned”) the rotors and installed another set of brake pads, which appear to be of even lower quality than the previous ones.
Now the wheels are once again covered with excessive brake dust and metal residue, showing abnormal brake pad wear and poor-quality parts. This is unacceptable, especially considering the repairs were done directly at the dealership.
I expected professional service and OEM-quality repairs from a Chevrolet dealer, but unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing.
Sincerely,
Junior Togo
